Kyle & Elbia - Washington, D.C. Wedding

It's late afternoon on the national mall in Washington, D.C. A large, black van pulls up next to the police barricades and a stream of people in suits step off. Photographers (hey that's us!) begin snapping pictures.

All around, tourists pause in anticipation of seeing a Senator or Representative. Suddenly, the suits part and a bride and groom step forward towards the reflecting pool. Crowds of people pull out their phones to capture the moment. That was just our first portrait stop for Kyle and Elbia's wedding.

In between walking around some of the country's most famous monuments and posing for pictures with tourists, Kyle and Elbia found time for a lovely wedding ceremony, great speeches, and some crazy dancing.

Here are a few of our favorite photos from the day!

Lindsey & Bert - Valentine Museum Wedding

Last summer, Lindsey and Bert made the most of the gorgeous weather during their beautiful outdoor wedding at The Valentine Museum in Richmond, VA. If there's one thing you need to know about these two, it's that they can dance!

We had a great time photographing their wild party, complete with conga lines, sparklers, and an incredible selection of pies for desert.

Kourtney & Albert - Engagement Photos

It isn't every day that a couple has as clear a vision for their engagement shoot as Kourtney and Albert did for theirs. From the moment they told us about the idea we loved it.

After an hour and a half drive, we arrived at the barn in northern Connecticut with its defining giant American flag mural. The owner, who also built the barn in the 1940s, was kind enough to let us poke around the property for the shoot. In addition to the flag mural, we found some interesting settings inside the barn and around the farm.

Chris & Emily - Engagement Photos

We have to confess, Chris and Emily's ocean-side engagement photos are some of our favorites. Chris spent his summers as a child exploring the coast with his uncle and frequently stopped as we walked along to point out spots where they used to go swimming or cliff jumping.

We finished off the day with an incredible sunset over the water and some tasty snacks from a tiny restaurant near by. Here are some of our favorite shots!
