E&V Gloucester Engagement Shoot

Stage Fort Park in Gloucester is one of our all-time favorite hidden gem locations. Tucked behind a row of trees, the coastline opens up into a sandy beach surrounded by steep rocks on either side. Because of the way the park curves around, it’s also possible to capture the sunset over the water from multiple directions.

So, naturally, when we went to photograph two of our good friends on the North shore we knew we had to stop by Stage Fort Park. After a quick stroll through downtown Gloucester, we enjoyed a stunning sunset and moonrise over the water. Here are a few favorites from the shoot!

D&S – Backyard Wedding

This year, we got to see many more peoples’ backyards than we ever thought we would. With large gatherings restricted to slow the spread of COVID-19, we felt very fortunate whenever we were able to be part of the small groups of people who came together to celebrate during a tough year. During these intimate weddings, we’ve gotten to see so many incredible outpourings of love and support from families.

Dave and Sophia’s wedding this past October was extra special for us though since we’ve known each other as friends for years before they became clients. Needless to say, Alicia and I were beyond excited to document their wedding in the backyard of their new home – not just as their photographers but also as their friends.

Here are a few of our favorite photos from the day!

N&N Holiday Card

After a very strange year where any time spent outside has felt like a luxury, it was a lot of fun to get out and do a quick holiday card shoot around Boston Common, Beacon Hill, and the public garden on a beautiful December day. Here are a few favorites!

BTW, if you’re interested in booking your own holiday or portrait shoot please send us a message! As much as we love photographing weddings, these quick shoots have been a really cool way to meet new people and stretch our creativity without the scheduling constraints of a wedding day.

Best of 2019

Last year we shot over 60,000 photos in 6 states and met a ton of incredible people along the way. It’s never easy to pick, but here are a few of our favorites from 2019. We hope you enjoy!
